    1. Report on Remploy protest, How successful had this been? Had Brixton factory saved?
    2. CATP speaker well received and v.informative.
    3. GPTU stall.

    2. GP cheque Treasurer to liaise with K.Hussenbux re payment into GPTU acct.
    3. Debts: Treasurer to contact P.Cooney re donation. £35 to PM for conference stall.
    4. Spending plans agreed to get quote fro 1000 leaflets on better quality paper (+banner, see above)
  6. STW Protest 8/10/2007.
  7. National rally for Trade Union Freedom Support the Trade Union Freedom bill. Assemble and demonstrate outside House of Commons, 4pm-5.30pm. Then rally in Committee Room 14, 5.30pm-7.30pm. The bill goes before the Commons on Friday 19 October.
  8. Lobby for pensioners' rights Rally 12 noon, Methodist Central hall, Westminster followed by lobby of MPs. Called by National Pensioners Convention.
  9. NHS Demo: 3/11/2007 Assemble 11am, Temple Place, Victoria Embankment, London.
  10. OFFU day school 24/11/07 venue tba
  11. STW World against war conference 1/12/2007 Westminster Central Hall
  12. Campaign agaimst Climate Change March 8 December Assemble 12 noon, Millbank. Rally at 2.30pm, US embassy
  13. CCC TU Conference 8/2/2008 NB Next Organising meeting Exmouth Arms 2pm. NB More Greens needed Respect are a majority. Caroline Lucas and Derek Wall had been invited . Sue Fearns and/or a speaker from Prospect suggested as well as Hilary Wainwright for Greening the Workplace workshop.

    1. Revision of Workers Rights Policy

      Decided to propose large scale revsion of Workers Rights Policy (PM to contact Brian Heatley)

      To include:
      1. Right to reinstatement after unfair dismissal.
      2. Legal secondary picketing (under certain circumstances, sub-contracting mentioned).
      3. Revision of industrial dispute: Balloting Rules.
      4. Notice for industrial disputes.
      5. Workplace reps right to facility time.
      6. Union tax deductions.
      7. Rights for Agency workers.
      8. Migrant workers.
      9. Minimum wage (info needed on whether any Unions or TUC recognised or advocated regional variations).
      10. Other suggestions welcome.
    2. Changes in GPRC/GPEX representation. Congratulations to Joseph Healy (and votes of thanks) for election to GPEX. Sole GPRC rep is now M.Schleiman. GPEX situation needs review when GPEX election results are announced.
