- Noted that GPEW website was not often updated recently. GPTU may have to use own means of communication. GPTU Press Officer discussed.
- Not yet possible for Andy Hewett to contact Green World re possibility of GPTU insert /advert
- Noted that Andy Hewett was now formally GPTU rep on GPRC.
- Noted that the paper by Alan Wheatley and Anne Gray on welfare reform has not been covered by GPEW press office.
- Convention Of The Left Andy Hewett to post report back to GL & GPTU lists
- Convention of the Left AH, JH, and JC had attended a south London meeting; Lambeth Unison shop stewards were well represented, they appeared to be cooperating well across party lines. Possibility of a victimization against them.

- Public Meeting with Jean Lambert: Date provisionally set for 21st Feb. 2009: need to meet Danny Bates to discuss venue, topic (would Employment Reps still be relevant?), and other speakers.
- Campaign against Climate Change public meeting with Caroline Lucas and Zac Goldsmith, Friends' House, Euston 6/11/2008 P.Murry to bring GPTU leaflets etc for GP stall

- Green Left/London Federation meeting on Recession and New Green Deal 9/11/2008 Lucas Arms 245a Grays Inn Rd (nr Kings x) 2pm.
- Motions for conference (deadline 30/11/2008)
- Migration motion being submitted so as to amend MfSS to adopt European GP migration policy. text to be circulated on lists and blog.
- Sean Thompson´s motion on New Green Deal which basically supports it but suggests that there also needs to be a programme of nationalizing infrastructure, supported by GPTU committee,(full text on blog). P.Murry, Joseph Healy and Andy Hewett agreed to sign to support this motion.
- Policy Committee to be asked to update Welfare policy (which may be spread across different sections of MfSS) in the light of that the paper by Alan Wheatley and Anne Gray on welfare reform.
- The meeting endorsed Phelim MacCafferty´s call for members to write to MPs re amendments to the Employment Bill. The meeting agreed to consider this as a possible subject of an Emergency motion to conference.
- The meeting noted the possibility of a PCS strike over 2% pay cap on public sector and agreed to support it if necessary
- Agreed that James Caspell could produce another GPTU newsletter focusing on Unison and NUT strike ballot, he was also asked to include listings for Cacc Green left and Xmas events mentioned above
- Jenny Jones was proposing a motion setting a minimum wage to Southwark Council; the meeting agreed to support this and noted that it needed to be given more publicity.
- James Caspell is now able to post to the GPTU blog; calendar of TU events was eagerly awaited.
- More info needed re London bus strikes.
- The meeting re-iterated its advice to Green Party employees that they should all join appropriate Unions.
- P.Murry reported that he had had no response from Mick Rix of the GMB to speak at a meeting on airport expansion at the CaCCTU conference (March 7 2009).John McDonnell MP had already been booked for this meeting, does anyone know of a suitable pro-airport TU speaker?
- Call to investigate possibility of stalls at TU conferences noted, members were asked for any relevant information and/or contacts.
- Next meetings 26/11 at National Theatre, 12 December Winter solstice social/quiz venue TBA.
